Fun,
Relationships

Imagine being confined to your home for the rest of your life. Food and other day to day necessities would get dropped in from the roof every morning and evening. As for cleaning, that will be done on a monthly basis, and you’d get put into a small cage during this process.
I’m fish sitting for someone, and this is what I imagine life is like for my friend, Fishy. I talk to Fishy for a few minutes every morning, to make her day a little brighter. I have this funny feeling that she understands me.

Psychology,
RelationshipsI have a few different theories on why relationships don’t work out. I can’t say I’m an expert in the field, considering I was a late bloomer in the dating field. Nonetheless, I’m good at observing people, and how they interact, and through that, along with what little experience I have, I’ve come up with some interesting conclusions. So read through them, and let me know what your thoughts are.

Random,
RelationshipsI’m on an Indian DL (distribution list) at work, where mainly Indian folks exchange information, post classifieds, etc. I recently came across a request from someone named Jyothi, who is looking for a carpool buddy from Fremont. Whoa!
Perfect, nah? So I respond, we exchange contact info, and a few minutes later I get a call from the person. So I answer, and it’s a guy. What the freak? When did Jyothi’s become guys. That’s like having a male Jessica. Doesn’t make sense. Anyhow, I think to myself, it’s okay, whatever saves me time and money. We agree to begin carpooling today, Monday.

More on What is an Emotion?
“Every feeling you have good OR bad is not based on actual reality of life, but rather your interpretation as to what things mean. Remember, nothing in life has any meaning except the meaning you give it. So if you don’t like the way you feel about your life .. CHANGE the meaning!”

All in all, there are 10 negative master emotions as stated by Anthony Robbins
Uncomfortable: Bored, Rejected
Fear: Concern, Apprehension, Anxiety, Frightened, Terrified

1. Listen
Stop, close your mouth, and listen. Living in a fast-paced world, all too often we forget to take the time to listen to what people are saying to us. Take the time to genuinely listen to what the other person has to say, through their words, and body language. People can pick up on when you’re “faking it”
And make sure to communicate after listening
(step #5 ).

Psychology,
RelationshipsWe attract those people who are of similar maturity level to our own. If we find ourselves always surrounded by immature people, then there needs to be a change in our environment in order to grow and mature. We are never the same from inside, as we are outside in terms of maturity. There are different stages of life. We are at cross roads when we hit those rough spots, which stops us to grow or pay attention to life’s valuable lessons mentally. So a person’s maturity level can never be determined by his biological growth. Maturity is a very important vehicle in establishing a successful relationship. Below are 3 basic types of relationships based on person’s maturity level.
